BEFORE YOU BEGIN:makesureyouhavethenecessaryadministraonrightstoinstallthe

soware.

 • InserttheIRIScan™ Express 3CD-ROMintheCD-ROMdriveofyourcomputer.

 • ClicktheCD-ROMicontobrowsethecontents.

 • ClicktheReadiris™ Pro 12 package to start the

installaon.

 • ClickNextandfollowtheon-screeninstrucons.

BEFORE YOU BEGIN:connectthescannertoyourcomputerwiththeprovidedUSBcable.

 • WhenReadiris™Pro12hasbeeninstalled,

returntotheCD-ROMcontents.

 • ClicktheIRIScan™ Express 3 package to start

theinstallaon.

 • ClickConnue and follow the on-screen

instrucons.

2. Scanning with the IRIScan™ Express 3

BEFORE YOU BEGIN:calibratethescanner

 • InFindergotoApplicaons>IRIScan,thenruntheIRIScan™ CalibraonWizard.

 • InsertthecalibraonsheetprovidedwithyourscannerandclickCalibrate now.

Eachofthetwoscannerbuonscanbeconguredtododierentacons.Thelescanner

buonbydefaultscansdocumentstoyourcomputer.Therightbuonscansdocumentsby

defaulttoReadiris™Pro12.Tochangethesesengs,usethetheBuonManagersoware.
